About

By the time I was 18 months old, I was swinging a hammer–and I have the scars to prove it! My Grandfather taught me basic woodworking skills and I continued to learn not only from him, but from my own mistakes. I gradually earned enough money to add more advanced equipment to my wood workshop. By the time I was 12, I was making and selling Prie Dieus (Prayer Kneelers). I’ve since advanced into other furniture, cabinetry, and toys but am most gratified building items that I know will aide in someone getting closer to God.

Since I’m in this alone, all sales are final.

    Good evening Ian,

I came across your mom’s site, and was directed here, while looking for Kneelers. Do you also have other items available. I am trying to create a Catholic prayer room/alter type area in my home and am having some difficulty locating various furnishings, i.e. alter type table…

Please let me know if this is something you do.

    Best regards,

    Jo Lapiana

Yes, Jo. We make a number of items…mostly special order furniture and custom cabinetry. What size altar table were you looking for? What would you like it to include (shelves, etc…)?

Hi Ian, I left a message on your mom’s site too. Do you have any kneelers that are already made and ready to ship? I am looking to buy one for my mom for Christmas. We live in Stephens City, VA. I can be reached by email or phone. Thanks, Cari Brown

    Hi!

I am looking for an affordable, folding, wooden meditation bench. Just like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buddha-Bum-Meditation-Bench-Folding-/330655919555?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item4cfca0edc3

I could buy from the dealer above, but I am looking for an American made (therefore hopefully even cheaper) and Catholic based craftmanship.

Do you want the same dimensions? Angled or flat on top?

    • Seminarian-Ryan says:

      Dear Ian,
I’ve also been looking for a folding kneeler like the one this fellow mentions — approximate dimensions 18″ long, 7″-8″ wide, 7″ tall in front, and 8″ tall in back. I need it to be small enough (collapsible) but sturdy enough to withstand a seminary dorm room!
Is there any chance you could make me one?

      Peace in Christ,
      Ryan
